The Vernasca Silver Flag 2025 returns to the spotlight June 13-15, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated events in the panorama of events dedicated to historic racing cars. The picturesque route between Castell'Arquato and Vernasca, in the heart of the Arda Valley, will be the setting for the twenty-ninth edition of the dynamic competition organized by the Piacentino Automotoveicoli d'Epoca (CPAE) Club.
The event, inspired by the historic cronoscalata, celebrates not only the fascination of classic cars in motion, but also the evolution of motorsport, the culture of restoration and the protection of a technical and mechanical heritage that has made Italy famous throughout the world.
Theme 2025: The 1975, Legendary Year of Italian Motorsport

The thematic focus of Vernasca Silver Flag 2025 will be 1975, considered by historians and enthusiasts to be an unrepeatable year for Italian motorsport. A year when Italy dominated the major motorsport disciplines worldwide.
- 🏆 Ferrari won the F1 World Championship with Niki Lauda and the revolutionary 312T.
- 🏁 Alfa Romeo wins the World Brands Championship with the legendary 33TT12.
- 🌍 Lancia triumphs in the WRC with its unmistakable Stratos.
- 🇮🇹 Fiat asserts itself in the European Rally with the 124 Abarth Rally.
The choice of 1975 makes this edition even more meaningful for all lovers of Italian motoring, who will be able to see authentic mechanical masterpieces in action.
Mafra: Official Sponsor Between Passion and Heritage
Mafra reference point in car care and professional detailing, will be present as Main Sponsor of the event. Mafra's commitment to preserving the beauty and authenticity of historic cars is reflected in its ongoing research into solutions for cleaning and protecting vintage materials: original paint, leather interiors, wooden dashboards and composite materials.
Direct participation in the event, not only as a sponsor but also on the track, testifies to the company's willingness to be an active partner in the enhancement of Italian motoring culture.
The Mafra crew: a dream come true
One of the most anticipated moments of Vernasca Silver Flag 2025 will be the participation of Miki Biasion, two-time World Rally Champion (1988 and 1989), who will take part in the event aboard his iconic Lancia Delta EVO Martini.

This is a limited series of only 8 examples, born from a 1993 Lancia/Maggiora project to give birth to an evolved Delta: more modern, sturdier, more comfortable.
The car integrates cutting-edge materials and exclusive details such as Alcantara and Poltrona Frau leather interior, Brembo brakes derived from the Ferrari 360 Modena, Bilstein shock absorbers, as well as a completely updated transmission and electronics. The 2.0 turbo engine delivers 215 hp as standard, but can reach 350-360 hp in track configuration, approaching the performance of a Group A.
Martini & Rossi certified, this car represents a true rarity in contemporary motorsport.
To maintain it in impeccable condition, Miki relies exclusively on Mafra products, a guarantee of quality and professional care.

Alongside him will be me, Francesco Di Florio, Marketing Director of Mafra, for a climb that fuses heart and vision, motorsport and business, in an experience charged with emotion and meaning.
Being next to a champion like Biasion is an emotion that goes beyond a passion for cars. It's an opportunity to bring Mafra's values to an event that speaks of tradition, excellence and love of motors. For me, it is a dream come true."
Sunday: the Mafra crew will board the ASI's Lancia Stratos.
Another unmissable moment will be the ascent with the Lancia Stratos of theASI - Automotoclub Storico Italiano, an absolute icon of motorsport. It will be driven by the Mafra crew, representing the strong link between automotive culture and innovation.
The Lancia Stratos HF is one of the absolute icons of world motorsport. Created in the early 1970s and designed specifically to win in rallies, it was the first car conceived exclusively for this discipline. Designed by Bertone, it mounted a 2.4-liter Ferrari Dino V6 engine and boasted a short, ultra-light chassis that ensured exceptional agility.
Between 1974 and 1976 it won three consecutive world titles in the World Rally Championship, establishing itself as a symbol of innovation, boldness and Italian style.
To this day, its unmistakable lines and intoxicating sound continue to fascinate fans of every generation.
