Mugello circuit, a historic race
The Mugello Circuit is a race with a very long tradition: the first edition was held in 1914, while the last one was held in 1970. The original route consisted of a ring of roads formed by the Futa State Highway linking Florence and Bologna and the Giogo Pass. The roll of honor for the speed race includes such champions as Giuseppe Campari, Clemente Biondetti, Nanni Vaccarella, Gijs van Lennep, Vic Elford and Arturo Merzario. In the 1920s greats such as Enzo Ferrari and Alfieri Maserati also took part in the race.
Over 300 kilometers of route

A challenging race for Passanante
Mario Passanante, Mafra Brand Ambassador, seeks to repeat his 2023 success at the Mugello Road Circuit, achieved under the colors of the Franciacorta Motori stable . The Sicilian regular had won with a consistent performance that also allowed him to win the RC2 Category (cars from 1931 to 1950).
"It is a very good race," Mario explains, "which involves driving many more kilometers than others." "There are 90 precision testsplanned," adds the Sicilian driver, "to which 30 to 40 average detections are added, and this makes the competition very challenging."
We at Mafra share Mario Passante's passion for classic cars and desire to always compete at the highest level. We are sure that Mario will hold our colors high on this occasion as well, and we wish him the best of luck.
