The 2020 edition of the Targa Florio Classic kicks off from the Mafra Square.
Once again this year Mafra will be on the roads of the 2020 Targa Florio Classic. Two crews will take the start on Friday, October 16. Marco Mattioli and his navigator Mario Pensotti will participate in the "Cursa" with a 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Abarth Rally. Mario Passanante, the winner of the 2019 edition, will still be part of the Mafra stable, driving his splendid 1937 FIAT 508 C. A special Mafra Welcome Kit will be waiting for all participants.
Ten cars will gather in the forecourt in front of Mafra headquarters on Friday, Oct. 9, to begin the 2020 adventure of the Targa Florio Classic. Waiting for them will be the team of detailers #Labocosmetica, who will take care of each car with a real beauty treatment. From there, loaded onto a car transporter, the cars are taken to Palermo. On Friday, October 16, the 104th edition of the oldest race in the world kicks off. The "Cursa," as the Sicilians call it, is a real heritage to be preserved, loved by all classic car enthusiasts.

Two Mafra crews are taking the start in the 2020 Targa Florio Classic. Marco Mattioli and his historic navigator Mario Pensotti are driving the 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Abarth Rally, restored to its original color, a splendid periwinkle blue typical ofthis car. Also part of the Mafra stable this year is. Mario Passanante who, with his 1937 FIAT 508 C, seeks to repeat last year's success. At his side is youtuber Enrico Di Mauro, for the web audience Bruce Garage, an expert and fan of historic cars, who is documenting the entire race live on his social channels.

3 days around Sicily
The Madonie circuit, the Favorita circuit and the legendary facilities of Floriopoli are the places that made Targa Florio history. Some of the greatest drivers of all time such as Albert Divo, Achille Varzi, Tazio Nuvolari, Stirling Moss, Vie Elford, Graham Hill and Nino Vaccarella have competed on Sicilian roads. Also this year the myth of the "Cursa" is renewed, numerous crews, from all over the world, will animate the three days of competition along the Sicilian roads. This year it is not possible to set up the traditional Targa Florio Village, but fans can admire the cars parked in front of the Historic Museum of Engines and Mechanisms..

The 104th edition of the Targa Florio Classic is entered in the Aci Sport Italian Major Events Championship and this is the program of the "Cursa"
- Thursday, Oct. 15: Technical scrutineering and car presentation ceremony.
- Friday, Oct. 16: Under the Mafra inflatable arches, positioned on the starting line, we set off in the direction of Marsala, on the roads of the Sicilian salt pans. Then return to Palermo, following the route taken in 1860 by Garibaldi's Red Shirts.
- Saturday, Oct. 17: start of the second stage, the cars face the reconstruction of the Circuito delle Madonie. This is where the greatest drivers have competed, and today classic car enthusiasts compete with the goal of excelling not in speed but in regularity.
- Sunday, Oct. 18: grand finale in Palermo with the re-enactment of the Circuito della Favorita and award ceremony for the winners.
