Mafra at the Abruzzo Gran Tour and Avezzano Circuit 2022

The Abruzzo Gran Tour and Avezzano Circuit 2022 takes place on the first weekend of July. Mafra, as a partner of the ASI Tricolor Circuit, is present at the prestigious Abruzzo race dedicated to classic cars.

The charm of classic cars and the ASI Tricolor Circuit., for the first weekend in July, move to the Abruzzo roads in the Avezzano area. From June 29 to July 3, theAbruzzo Gran Tour and the tenth edition of the Avezzano Circuit will be held. Five days of intense passion in one of Italy's richest regions of parks, protected areas and nature reserves. Mafra, as sponsor of the ASI Tricolor Circuit, is present with its unmistakable inflatable arch and a special Welcome Kit containing a selection of its best car care products. Also at the event is the gazebo Maniac Line, dedicated to the new Mafra line designed for true car care maniacs.

TheAbruzzo Gran Tour takes event participants to unexpected places, rich in unspoiled nature and centuries-old tradition. The Avezzano Circuit 2022, which takes place along the streets of the beautiful Abruzzo village, brings back the magic of heroic races of yesteryear, aboard sports cars, "barchettas" and pre-1945 veterans.

On Wednesday, June 29, we set off from Avezzano for theAbruzzo Gran Tour. The first day of the race ends in Sulmona, where, after a tour of the city, the traditional opening dinner is held. A unique opportunity to admire the Abruzzo National Park.
Thursday, June 30, in the morning, the cars set off again from Sulmona in the direction of Capestrano. Brief stop to visit the Piccolomini Castle and then back on the road to climb the Gran Sasso. Lunch in Mucciante and then off again to arrive inL'Aquila and visit the beautiful historic center.
Friday, July 1, begins the 3 days dedicated to the Avezzano 2022 Circuit. Departure at 10 a.m. for the Tour of the Subequana Valley and the Velino Sirente Regional Park. After stopping for lunch, we start again with the Tour of Mount Sirente. In the afternoon, arrive in Celano and visit the Piccolomini Castle and then meet at La Fenice Theater for the splendid concert by the Daphne String Quartet, then return to Avezzano.
On Saturday, July 2, the cars move to Incline Park from where the re-enactment of the "Coppa Micangeli" kicks off. After 110 km connecting Avezzano and Pescasseroli, passing through Scanno, there are another 60 km to return to Avezzano, where the ^10th edition of the Avezzano Circuit is held . Departure at 10 p.m. for an atmospheric night route along the streets of the town, closed for the occasion.
On Sunday, July 3 , the event closes at Orsini Colonna Castle. On display in the forecourt are a number of cars of the well-known collector Corrado Lopresto, Brand Ambassador Mafra, who takes part in the event driving his splendid Alfa Romeo 6C Aprile from 1931. Before the awards, Corrado Lopresto will tell the audience about his passion for classic cars, which have made him one of the most famous collectors internationally.
