Rendezvous for the gathering of the 500 in Garlenda

From July 1-3, collectors of the legendary FIAT 500 will gather in Garlenda for the 39th International Meeting. Mafra is present as a sponsor of the event.

The weekend ofJuly 1 to 3 is the date for the historic gathering of the 500 in Garlenda, in the province of Savona, which for 39 years has hosted this event dedicated to the small hatchback from the FIAT factory.

Now in its ^39th year, this year's international Fiat 500 meeting also features Mafra as a sponsor of the event. We will be present with our large inflatable arch, framing the 500s from all over the world. About 1,000 cars are expected by the organizers in the Ligurian town.

A special Mafra Welcome Kit containing a selection of our best products dedicated to car care will be provided for all event registrants. All enthusiasts can ask for information at the gazebo Maniac Line and attend hands-on demonstrations conducted by Mafra professional detailers.

The program of the Gathering of the 500 in Garlenda

The gathering of the 500 in Garlenda is organized by the Fiat 500 Club Italy, the world's largest club dedicated to the iconic model that made the history of the House of Turin. Passion and creativity are the ingredients that the organizers of this historic event put into their activities.

On Thursday, June 30, the cars begin arriving at the Albenga shopping center for the pre-meeting aperitif, then waiting for everyone to gather the next day for the first day of the rally.
The rally opens on Friday, July 1, with the classic trade show dedicated to the FIAT 500 parts market. The cars are brought to Villafranca Park from where the event begins. Around 11:30 a.m. the opening ceremony of the 39th meeting takes place . This is followed by the opening of the "Exhibition of Exhibitions" at the Museum of the 500. Immediately after lunch, we leave for the sightseeing tour in Ceriale during which various entertainment events take place. In the evening, at 10 p.m., the "500 by night" tour begins along the streets of Alassio, a well-known seaside town and popular tourist destination around the world.
On Saturday, July 2, in the morning at 8 a.m., we leave for the excursion/trekking with destination Borgata Cantone and visit to the Castles of Garlenda. All cars are assembled in Villafranca and here a panel discussion entitled "500 R my first fifty years" takes place. Then transfer to Stellanello (SV) and head to theAcquaPark "Le Caravelle" in Ceriale (SV). In the evening we return to Villafranca for the "Return to Garlenda 2022" Grand Gala.
A parade through the streets of Albenga takes place on Sunday, July 3, and in the afternoon, presentation of the exhibition at the Car Museum of Turin dedicated to the FIAT 500: 65 years of a myth. The day ends with dancing and music and a goodbye until 2023.

During all days of the 39th International Fiat 500 Meeting in Garlenda, the Multimedia Museum of the Fiat 500 "Dante Giacosa" is open with free admission reserved for meeting participants: hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
