MAFRA at Valleys and Mists 2023
From March 24 to 26 we are at the Valli e Nebbie 2023, 33rd edition of the motoring event dedicated to classic cars. This is the first stage of ASI Circuito Tricolore, the circuit of car and motorcycle events organized by ASI Federated Clubs of which Mafra is a sponsor. We are present with Puliveneta, our local distributor, to meet enthusiasts and present the best Mafra products for car care and maintenance.
It starts with the Third Edition of ASI Tricolor Circuit! The first stage takes place in the Ferrara area, it is the Valleys and Mists 2023, now in its 33rd edition. Organized by the Club Officina Ferrarese del Motorismo Storico., the Valli e Nebbie 2023 kicks off on Friday, March 24, from the Ferrara Hotel, where scrutineering of the cars is also held. The race takes place in the landscapes surrounding the Po Delta, to pass through the historical and architectural beauty of the Este city.

The Valleys and Mists is a cultural tourism event that involves passing detections with an average speed of less than 40 km/h. Admitted cars must possess the ASI Certificate of Identity or FIVA Identity Card or Participation Permit, also issued by the ASI.
There are 7 different classes of cars admitted to the competition:
- Ancétres: built up to 12/31/1904
- Vétéran: built from 01/01/1905 to 31/12/1918
- Vintage: built from 01/01/1919 to 31/12/1930
- Post Vintage: built from 01/01/1931 to 31/12/1945
- Classic: built from 01/01/1946 to 31/12/1960
- Post Classic: built from 01/01/1961 to 31/12/1970
- Modern: built since 01/01/1971 of special interest, selected at the discretion of the Organizers
All participants are given a road book with the itinerary of the event at scrutineering. Competitors must comply with all rules of the highway code and not exceed the speed limit.
Only analog stopwatches with manually or automatically winding hands without acoustic or vibrating scanning are allowed for timing by participants. Any measuring and computing devices, including smartphones and tablets, are prohibited on board the car.
MAFRA at Valleys and Mists 2023 with Puliveneta
As a sponsor of the entire ASI Circuito Tricolore 2023, we at Mafra are present with our area distributor Puliveneta, a pioneer company in the cleaning industry. Our inflatable arches mark the start and finish of the various stages and for all crews registered for the event the special Mafra Welcome kit.
The route: history, culture and passion for classic cars
As always, the Valleys and Mists opens the season of major events ASI. Combining the pleasure of driving one's historic vehicle with the pleasure of being able to visit places rich in history and culture is the spirit that has animated the Ferrara organizers of the Valli e Nebbie since its inception.
Here is the program for the 2023 edition of the Valleys and Mists:
- Saturday, March 25: The start is scheduled at 9 a.m. from Piazza Castello in Ferrara. From here, the cars move in the direction of Tenuta Lodigiani, where the first precision test is held. The race continues in the direction of Codigoro, then passes through Lagosanto. Around 11:00 a.m. the second precision test is scheduled at the Romea Beach. Stop at the Valle Bertuzzi nature oasis and then continue in the direction of Castello di Mesola, where competitors stop for lunch. After the break, the departure is for the Delizia Estense di Zanzalino in the Copparo area. At 4:30 p.m. new precision test in Copparo and then back to Ferrara in Piazza Castello, for the gala dinner.
- Sunday, March 26: At 9:00 a.m., the race starts from Piazza Castello and heads to Piazza Ariostea, where a new precision test takes place. Then it continues on a route through the Ferrara countryside passing through Poggio Renatico and its Air Base. Around mid-day, the cars return to Ferrara to parade through Piazza Trento e Trieste. The event concludes at 1 p.m. with the awards ceremony and final lunch.
