Rome Capital Rally: July 20, 21 and 22. We at MAFRA are there and you...put off your commitments!
Such a spectacle rarely happens! Hard to see along the streets of Rome cars competing for an official round of the European Rally Championship. Among the crews were also "our" Andrea Nucita and Marco Vozzo, driving an Abarth 124 Rally of Team Bernini Rally, of which MAFRA is an official sponsor.
We are ready and lined up in the front line, even with a fantastic hospitality and mega party entertainment, with DJ sets, vocalists and lots of entertainment!
The sixth edition of the Rome Capital Rally gets underway
There is little, very little time left until the highly anticipated Rally di Roma Capitale, now in its sixth edition and a fixed stage of the European Rally Championship, the continental series dedicated to road racing, where the best drivers and the most important official car manufacturers compete. It can only be a source of pride that a leg of this championship is held along the streets of Rome and around the capital.
The appointment is set for tomorrow, July 20, in front of the "Colosseo Quadrayo" in EUR, where the drivers will compete in an exciting one-on-one race. Then two intense days will follow, with six special stages to be run twice, respectively, three on Saturday, July 21, and as many on Sunday, July 22. Among the novelties of the 2018 edition, once Sunday's round on the Simbruini Mountains is over, it will land on the Ostia Lido seafront with the Super Special "Sky Gate," a special stage desired by organizer Max Rendina, who is very attached to this area. An exciting 650-meter timed trial that will start at 7:18 p.m. Thousands of spectators, rally enthusiasts, will be able to witness a unique spectacle of acceleration and adrenaline-fueled U-turns, all on the Paolo Toscanelli Promenade.
To bring the passion of motors to life even more intensely, the "Villaggio dei Motori" will be set up on the Ostia pier on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22, an area with free admission that will welcome the Rally audience, an event that, as every year, combines the spectacle and excitement of the race with a dedicated exhibition to discover all the novelties of the car world.

MAFRA is proud to be a sponsor of the Roma Capitale Rally with a 160-square-meter exhibition space inside the "Villaggio dei Motori" in Piazza dei Ravennati in Ostia. Tomorrow (July 20), MAFRA's inflatable arch will be at EUR to indicate the start of the first stage of the Rally, while on Sunday, July 22, it will move to Ostia to indicate the start of the spectacular stage held on the seafront.
Also competing in the Rally Roma Capitale will be Catania driver Andrea Nucita and his navigator Marco Vozzo, currently second in the FIA R-GT International Championship standings. The No. 31 crew will race aboard theAbarth 124 Rally of the Team Bernini Rally, of which MaFra is a sponsor.
All registered participants in the race will receive a special Welcome Bag containing the company's products, while crews who stand out during some of the special stages will be awarded 10 steel buckets, personalized with the Rally di Roma Capitale logo and containing MAFRA products.
Spectators attending the race will then be able to enjoy themselves at the MAFRA area, where intense moments of entertainment and spectacle are planned, with DJs, vocalists, and entertainers, as well as our Starlets who will perform their traditional entertainment show, handing out prizes and gadgets to all fans. Finally, at the MAFRA hospitality, there will be an opportunity to meet the many VIPs attending the race, enjoying some cool stuff and experiencing a relaxing moment.
The entire event will be followed by one of our cameramen, who will be responsible for capturing the most exciting moments of the race, and then replaying them on MAFRA's social channels - YouTube, Facebook and Instagram - so that everyone can relive the excitement of this special event held along the streets of the Capital.
