The appointment with classic cars is in Turin for Automotoretrò 2018, an unmissable event dedicated to motor collectors, where MAFRA participates with its stand and dedicated services for exhibitors. Last year more than 65,000 visitors came from all over Europe, not only insiders but also many enthusiasts attracted by the wonderful cars on display.
Turin capital of vintage vehicles
From Thursday, Feb. 1 through Sunday, Feb. 4, the 36th edition of Automotoretrò will be staged at the Lingotto-Fiere in Turin, the event created in 1983 with the aim of displaying to the public the best representations of vintage cars, motorcycles and boats in order to encourage private collecting, commercial activities related to the sector and, at the same time, to spread motoring culture. The Turin show is very important, as it opens the season of events dedicated to vintage vehicles and is the first time of the year when collectors gather to evaluate cars to invest in, fulfilling their passion.
Last year's edition welcomed more than 65,000 visitors, and numerous trade deals were concluded during the event. The value of vehicles sold rose significantly, settling in the range of 100,000 to 400,000 euros, with a strong focus on Italian brands. Not only cars but also everything that revolves around collecting: spare parts, accessories, publishing, clothing, gifts, a large "market" that entirely occupies the third pavilion of Lingotto Fiere.
