Mafra on the roads of the Targa Florio Classica 2021
The Targa Florio Classica 2021 kicks off on Friday, October 15. We are present again this year as a sponsor of the event and with 2 crews registered for the "Cursa". Also at the start are detailers from the #Labocosmetica team taking care of the cars before the start.
This is it, everything is ready for the Targa Florio Classica 2021, the oldest race in the world. From Friday, October 15 through Sunday, October 17, collectors from all over the world will compete on the beautiful Sicilian roads in a regularity race where it's not the fastest who wins, it's the most precise who wins!
Two Mafra crews entered the "Cursa," the name by which the Targa Florio is called by the Sicilians. Massimiliano Mattioli and his wife Antonella Spadola are participating with a stunning 1966 Alfa Romeo 2600 Turing, while Mario Passanante is at the start in his classic 1937 FIAT 508. In fact, the partnership between the well-known Sicilian collector and Mafra continues. A collaboration born from the common passion for classic cars, which sees Mario Passanante and Mafra involved in numerous events.

As per tradition, Mafra is the Official Sponsor of the Targa Florio Classica 2021. As always, it is our inflatable arches that frame the start and finish of the various stages. Once again this year, the cars departing from Milan will gather in the square in front of our headquarters in Baranzate, before setting off for the Targa Florio Classica 2021. It is already from here that the detailers of the #Labocosmetica team take care of them, before they are loaded onto the car transporter in the direction of Palermo. In the Sicilian capital, the cars are on display in front of theUniversità degli Studi, where all fans can admire them up close. The roads that made history
The Targa Florio is one of the oldest and most famous car races in the world . The "Cursa," desired, created and organized by Vincenzo Florio, has been held 103 times, from 1906 to 1977, as a speed competition and since 1978 as a rally competition. For the past few years, a regularity competition dedicated to vintage cars and entered in the Italian Great Events Championship: the Targa Florio Classica. Participants in the race retrace the same roads that have seen drivers such as Albert Divo, Achille Varzi, Tazio Nuvolari, Stirling Moss, Vic Elford, Graham Hill and Nino Vaccarella, to name but a few.

The program of the Targa Florio Classica 2021 includes a route divided into 2 stages:
- Friday, October 15 - 1st Stage: Depart from the heart of Palermo in the direction of Trapani and its fascinating salt pans, then return to Palermo
- Saturday, October 16 - Stage 2: Departure again from Palermo to ride the historic Circuito delle Madonie, then finish the race in Palermo
- Sunday, Oct. 17: Before the awards ceremony, the City of Monreale Trophy is turned around.
