All set for the sixth edition of the "Summer Marathon 2017" with MA-FRA.
FRANCIACORTA, JUNE 16 - 17 AND 18, 2017
"Summer Marathon", the major event dedicated to classic cars includes an international classic regularity race with the inclusion of average trials.
There will be about 80 cars admitted and they will compete for as many as 40 classic precision time trials under L'Elgida ACI Sport.
La Summer Marathon will again boast participants from different countries from all over the world thanks to the impressive setting and the notoriety that year after year, thanks to an organization in DOC, is increasingly appreciated by fans of this beautiful way of vintage four-wheelers.
Mafra the main sponsor of the Event, a leading company in the car care sector, with a long history of research and production based on Made in Italy, could not miss this year's appointment, and so it also participates in this event by putting on the road the 'crew composed by Marco Mattioli CEO of MA-FRA with Mario Pensotti, on board a magnificent 1973 Fiat 124 Spider Sport Abarth.
This year, the great event is once again offering a great prize: the complete package for participation in the 2018 edition of GRAN CARRERA-ARGENTINA.

Under the warm June sun, the "Summer Marathon 2017" will kick off with a respectable opener, the well-known Rally driver of the 70s/80s Maurizio Verini.
The official start will be Friday 16 from Corte Franca in Franciacorta, the hilly area located between Brescia and the southern end of Lake Iseo in Lombardy.
The route includes 3 stages spread over about 650 kilometers , and the cars will pass through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy and the world.
We will cross as many as eight of the best-known alpine passes in historic motor racing including Gavia, Presolana, Mendola, Vivione, Crocedomini, Charlemagne and the legendary Stelvio Pass.
The arrival of the first stage will be around 5:30 pm at Tonale Pass and will be preceded by the 1st Concours d' Elegance.
Local food and wine specialties and typical products will be offered along the way.
The second day, departing from Tonale, will follow by touching, among others, the two magnificent cities of Silandro and Bolzano with a stop at the Firmiano Castle before arriving at 5:30 p.m. in Val Di Sole in the town of Pellizzano where the 2nd Concorso d' Eleganza will take place.
On Sunday 18, the last day of the event, we will depart from Passo del Tonale in the direction of Madonna di Campiglio with a stop in Storo for a tasting at an agritourism of typical local products.
Following this, arrival of the third stage at the Grand Hotel Relais Franciacorta and holding of the 3rd Concours d' Elegance where the buffet for participants and the grand final awards ceremony of the "Summer Marathon 2017" will be set up.
Also returning in this edition is the highly anticipated "Vote for the Queen of the Summer Marathon" contest .
The car that receives the most "likes" on the dedicated facebook page will be awarded the MA-FRA Grand Cup, which will be presented during the above-mentioned awards ceremony.
