On September 21 and 22, the Fiera di Roma is hosting the first edition of an event dedicated to historic motoring in all its forms, Motori Capitale. And we at Mafra are at the forefront, with our products and expert advice on car care at Hall 6 Stand C4.
The automotive world is going through a peculiar time, with the transition to new forms of mobility, but the passion for historic cars shows no signs of waning. On the contrary, every event, fair or show that features them sees large and enthusiastic crowds gather.
Rome could not remain a stranger to this phenomenon and that is why, on September 21 and 22, it is held Motori Capitale, an expo of classic two- and four-wheeled engines.
A new event for the sector, hosted in the halls of the Fiera di Roma. An easily accessible location, as it is connected to the highway to Fiumicino and the Grande Raccordo Anulare and served by the Fiera Roma stop on the FR1 railway line.

A sector in turmoil
Motori Capitale aims to be a show dedicated to historic motoring that can raise enthusiasts' interest in vintage vehicles, from cars to motorcycles, trucks to buses, and other forms of transportation from years past.
Its purpose is to promote and protect historic motoring by fostering collaboration between collectors, traders and craftsmen with institutions that often need to be made aware of a world that has become significant to the national economy.
In fact, it is estimated that it generates an annual induced revenue of 2.5 billion euros in Italy, allowing realities of all kinds, from workshops to villages traversed by dynamic events, to make themselves known internationally.
According to a recent survey, more than 30 million people are involved in some way in events, fairs and shows related to historic motoring. And in Italy there are more than 4.3 million cars recognized as historic vehicles because they are over 30 years old.
But today even newer cars, called youngtimers, are attracting growing interest, helping to lower the average age of enthusiasts and collectors.
The protagonists of Motori Capitale
Motori Capitale provides exhibitors and visitors with not only enclosed spaces, but also outdoor areas in which to share this passion.
Protagonists of Motori Capitale are, therefore, vintage cars and motorcycles, but also public vehicles of the past. Special spaces are reserved for dealers and restorers, historical clubs and teams, and private individuals who wish to offer their cars for sale.
Also planned are an automobilia and model-trade show, a watch exhibition, parades, re-enactments, skill tests, and contests of elegance, reserved for young classics as well.
Institutions such as Aci, Asi and Anci/Città dei Motori are present, while the Bulgari Foundation is exhibiting ten pieces from its prestigious collection, half of which belonged to the Vatican.
Lego Italia 's jewel is a Fiat 500 built in the original dimensions with the famous bricks; other spaces are dedicated to car museums, such as the Mauto in Turin, the Armed Forces, private collections, the Passione Rossa Ferrari club, and ASI Solidale, which is committed to enabling people with disabilities to access historic motoring.
Mafra, also with its Maniac Line and Labocosmetica ranges, is at the side of visitors to Motori Capitale Roma, with its products that allow them to keep their beloved car in perfect condition at all times.
