Legend of Bassano 2023, ASI Tricolor Circuit continues

New appointment for the ASI Circuito Tricolore, from June 22 until June 25 appointment in Veneto for the Legend of Bassano 2023. Mafra is present as a sponsor of the ASI Circuito Tricolore and honors all participants in the event with its special Welcome Kit.

It starts again from Veneto with a new stage of theASI Tricolor Circuit. Classic car collectors and enthusiasts find themselves in Orbassano for the eighth stage that sees Mafra as sponsor of the Legend of Bassano 2023. Check out all the stages of theASI Circuito Tricolore.

In the panorama of Italian motorsport, the Giannino Marzotto Trophy - also known as the Legend of Bassano - is a race that has written indelible pages in the history of road racing. This event is held in honor of the legendary Italian driver, famous in the 1950s for his exploits in motor racing.

The first edition of the Legend of Bassano was held in 2002, precisely to celebrate the figure of Marzotto and pay tribute to his passion for racing cars. Since then, the event has become an established tradition over the years, attracting drivers, collectors and fans from all over the world.

Mafra at the Legend of Bassano 2023

As sponsors of theASI Circuito Tricolore, we at Mafra and our distributor E.R.A, SNC DI GUASTI BELISARIO & C. are present with our characteristic inflatable arch along the route to mark the start and finish of the various stages. As with the other events of theASI Circuito Tricolore, we have prepared a special Mafra Welcome Kit that is given to all those registered for the event.

In addition to the badge holder, the Mafra Welcome Kit contains a selection of car care products:

Pulimax 125ml: universal cleaner for the car interior, which cleans and renews seat colors by dissolving dirt and nicotine traces from the fabric weave. In addition to cleaning any fabric, it also eliminates bad odors for a perfect clean car interior.

Legend of Bassano 2023 and the C.V.A.E.

The Legend of Bassano is a regularity race reserved for historic cars, which winds through the scenic roads of the Veneto region. Organized by the C.V.A.E. Veneto Circolo Veneto Automoto d'Epoca, the event tests the drivers' ability to maintain a set average speed without exceeding the limits allowed by the highway code.

The uniqueness of this competition lies in its refined atmosphere and the picturesque setting provided by the Italian landscape. Participating cars include iconic models such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Jaguar and many others, evoking the golden age of motoring. The event also attracts the participation of celebrities, motor enthusiasts and car collectors who wish to experience driving these authentic works of art on four wheels.

The program

On Thursday, June 22, all participants in the 2023 edition of the Legend of Bassano will gather starting at 3 p.m. taken Villa Caffo Navarrini in Rossano Veneto (VI). Here the technical and sporting scrutineering takes place and the Mafra Welcome Kit is handed out. The day continues with dinner at theHotel Belvedere in Bassano del Grappa (VI).

On Friday, June 23 (150 km), from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. sports and technical scrutineering of the cars is concluded, and after the welcome brunch, the Race Director conducts the briefing before the departure of the first competitor, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. The cars head for Cavalese, passing through the Manghen Pass. From here they then continue over the Lavazè Pass in the direction of Bolzano. The day ends with dinner at a typical restaurant in the area.

On Saturday, June 24 (240 km), at 9:00 a.m., the first car takes off for the second day. The first stop is scheduled in Sterzing after passing through the Pennes Pass. After a short stop, departure for Passo Rombo where a stop for lunch is planned. At 3:30 p.m. we depart for Avelengo and then return to Bolzano where we visit the Mercantile Museum Consulate of Austria. In the evening there is a gala dinner at the Stadt Hotel Città and then everyone rests before facing the last day of the race.

On Sunday, June 25 (140 km), in the morning at 9 a.m. departure from Bolzano in the direction of Asiago, passing through Roveré della Luna. After a stop in Asiago, the cars head to Bassano del Grappa in Piazza della Libertà, where fans can admire them in all their beauty. It is here that the Legend of Bassano 2023 concludes. The awards ceremony for the winners and the final lunch are held at Villa Caffo Navarrini.
