From Friday, December 1, through Sunday, December 3, the Monza Rally Show, the well-known event that closes the automotive season, will take place. Also for this edition, MAFRA is a protagonist in the paddock and also on the track.
On the first weekend of December, the Autodromo di Monza turns into a rally track for the not-to-be-missed Monza Rally Show. Here the best rally drivers, fans of drifts and sports driving, will compete to celebrate the end of the championships, giving themselves an appointment for next year. In its 30 years of activity, the Monza Rally Show has had among its participants a roster of world-caliber drivers and personalities: first of all Valentino Rossi, winner of the last two editions.
9 special stages and a grand finale
Tens of thousands of fans flock to enjoy this spectacle and to see their idols try their hand at this discipline. Each team, during the 3 days, has to face as many as 9 special stages, at the end of which only the best can win the 2017 edition of the Monza Rally Show. The event concludes on Sunday, December 3, with a show within a show: the "Master Show," during which the various teams face each other two by two, in direct elimination, on a track full of pitfalls. Only the two fastest crews have access to the final challenge to vie for the coveted 2017 Master title.
Samples for all tastes
The Monza Rally Show, now in its 38th edition, has become a must-see event for all kinds of fans. The show, in fact, has seen the participation of numerous champions from both four and two wheels. To name a few of the best known: Alessandro Zanardi, Colin McRae, Dani Sordo, Dindo Capello, Giancarlo Fisichella, Ivan Capelli, Jean Alesì, Ken Block, Loris Capirossi, Marku Alen, Markus Gronholm, Michele Alboreto, Miki Biasion, Valentino Rossi, Sebastien Loeb and Tony Cairoli.
MAFRA also stars on the track
As has become a tradition, MAFRA is also present at this year's edition of the Monza Rally Show: the company's 2 trucks are used as hospitality by the drivers of Teams A-Style, P.A. Racing and Bernini Rally. And to make the cars shine under the spotlight, in the competition setting, there are the products of MAFRA's Car Line.
Moreover, for the first time, MAFRA is also a protagonist on the track: Massimiliano Mattioli, one of the company's owners and a four-wheel enthusiast, is joining as navigator the driver Andrea Nucita, winner of the Monza Rally Show in 2013 for the R3T class, who is racing in the Fiat 124 Abarth Rally of the Bernini Rally team.
