MAFRA at the Milan Trophy: an event not to be missed!

Three crews ready to compete along the streets of the capital city. And there will also be room for polishing and soft detaling demonstrations

A fixed stop for all fans of classic cars and motorcycles: this is the Milan Trophy, now in its 12th edition. Thus, on Saturday, October 6, the streets of the Lombard capital will be transformed into a track that will evoke sounds that have made automotive history. MAFRA - official sponsor of the event - will present three splendid cars at the start and a booth with detailers who will perform live demonstrations between polishing and soft detailing with products from #Labocosmetica.

Here we are at the Milan Trophy

A Saturday with a 1969 Ford Mustang, a Lancia Fulvia 1,300 Rallye also from 1969, and a1966 Alfa Romeo Spider 2600 Touring. What more could you want? These are the three crews will compete along the roads fromLinate Military Airport to Castello Sforzesco, passing through Pandino Castle. And these will not only be regularity trials, but real challenges of skill. All competitors, in fact, will be able to rely only on classic instrumentation. Any kind of electronics will be prohibited at the Trophy. An occasion, then, in which to return to measuring time with clocks and stopwatches with hands. A piece of history, then, will also belong to the winner of the Trophy, who will be awarded a spire of Milan Cathedral. This will be possible thanks to the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, which has granted the organizers of the event-the Club Milanese Automotoveicoli d'Epoca-the spire on loan for use.

The invasion of the Square of Arms

The Piazza d'Armi of the Sforza Castle will be transformed into a real open-air museum. The curious and enthusiasts will be able to admire up close the cars and motorcycles featured in the Milan Trophy. Don't miss your Welcome Kit. The program

9:15 AM Motorcycle - Departure of the motorcycles in groups. Stop and display of motorcycles in Center of Milan - view at Gallerie d'Italia and Museo della Scala and lunch. Early afternoon (3 pm) - arrival of motorcycles at Castello Sforzesco;

9:30 AM CARS - Departure of the first car (the others to follow with 30-second intervals from each other). After a route of about 60 km the cars will arrive at the Castle of Pandino. Along the route between Milan and Pandino (Cr) the competitors will have to pass some skill and Chronometric tests. In addition to the now classic Photographic Hunt;

11.30 a.m.-12.30 p.m. Arrival of cars at Pandino Castle;

1 p.m. Buffet lunch for all participants;

2:30 p.m. Departure for Milan;

3:30 p.m. Arrival at Castello Sforzesco. After the public presentation, which will take place in the center of the Piazza d'Armi, each car and motorcycle will be displayed inside the castle courtyards;

6 p.m. Cultural tours of the castle and its exhibition halls;

6:30 p.m. Concert by the Italian Air Force Fanfare at the Center of the Square of Arms (inside the Castle);

7:30 p.m. Aperitif at the Elephant Courtyard (inside the Castle);

8:30 PM Dinner organized in the Sala Viscontea (inside the Castello Sforzesco) - prize-giving and awarding of the XII Milan Trophy!
