Fabio Barone and the Ferrari Club Passione Rossa achieve a new record. 30 Ferraris arrive in Rovaniemi, the land of Santa Claus, Lapland for the Ferrari Arctic Tour!
It all began on May 25 when Santa Claus traveled to Rome. Welcomed by Fabio Barone, president of the Ferrari Club Passione Rossa and holder of extraordinary records driving his Ferrari 458 Italia. Santa Claus spent a day in the capital that ended with a visit to Gemelli Hospital The children were able to spend some time with their legend and receive magnificent gifts. It was at the very end of this wonderful day that Fabio Barone announced the new venture he would be embarking on. Taking as many as 30 Ferraris to the far north of Finland, to Rovaniemi, the land of Santa Claus for the Ferrari Arctic Tour. The event was also made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Italian Embassy in Finland.

Departing from Rome aboard four car transporters were the 30 Ferraris that took part in the Ferrari Arctic Tour. They reached Helsinki where Fabio Barone himself was waiting for them. From Finland's capital then set off on a long crossing of 850km between Helsinki and Rovaniemi. The Ferraris of Club Passione Rossa stopped in Oulu, where thousands of fans gathered to listen to the unmistakable sound of the Maranello cars.
The tour ended on Saturday, July 6 right in Rovaniemi, at the Arctic Circle! Here the spectacular supercars wrote a new record and met Santa Claus in his quaint village. The Mafra inflatable arch, which has now become a symbol of many motoring events, was there to welcome the blazing cars. A great adventure that we at Mafra absolutely could not miss.

Fabio Barone, the man of impossible records!
Driving his Ferrari 458 Italia, Fabio Barone holds 3 extraordinary speed records on impossible roads. Tianmen, China, considered among the 10 most dangerous roads in the world. Transfagarasan, the winding road in the Carpathians in Romania. The Dadès Valley, in Morocco, 8.8 km of climbs and descents, all curves and no guardrail. With this new adventure, Fabio Barone achieved a new record. Never in fact had a Ferrari gone so far north, much less 30 cars from the same club. A unique feat that inscribes the name of the Ferrari Club Passione Rossa in the Olympus of the most important clubs in the world. Once again, Mafra was at Fabio Barone's side!
