Rally Roma Capitale: adrenaline on the streets of the Eternal City

The ^7th edition of the Rally Roma Capitale is underway. After last year's great success, MAFRA returns alongside Team Bernini Rally, currently the leader of the Abarth Rally Cup.

The Roma Capitale Rally has now become one of the most important events in the Italian motorsport scene. Now in its ^7th edition, in addition to being part of the Italian Rally Championship (CIR), this year it is also the fifth round of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC). All this is a guarantee of a show of absolute value, with the best teams competing along the roads leading from Rome to Fiuggi, then returning to Ostia for the Super Special Stage on Sunday, July 21.

All crews registered for the race, in addition to receiving our special Welcome Bag, at some special stages can win 10 customized Rally di Roma Capitale steel buckets with a selection of MAFRA products to take care of their four-wheelers. We are waiting for you on the Ostia seafront with two areas dedicated to MAFRA products and #Labocosmetica, with many surprises and live performances! The entire event is followed live on Eurosport, the official channel of the European Rally Championship, and of course on our social channels!

After the great success of the 2018 edition, we could not miss the Rally Roma Capitale... and our presence will be felt! As many as 2 inflatable arches: one positioned atthe service park set up in Fiuggi, the other on the track of the Super Special Stage runningon the Ostia coastline. There will also be two booths set up on the Ostia pier inside the Motor Village, one dedicated to MAFRA products and the other to #Labocosmetica, our special division dedicated to the world of Car Detailing.

In Ostia, all fans who come to see us can attend hands-on demonstrations and touch the quality of our products for sale, as well as experience moments of entertainment and showmanship, with DJs, vocalists and entertainers. There will of course be no shortage of prizes and gadgets distributed by our Starlets. There will also be a chance to meet the many VIPs attending the race and the drivers of Team Bernini Rally, of which MAFRA is a technical sponsor.

The 2019 edition of Rally Roma Capitale is also the fourth stage of theAbarth Rally Cup, the trophy dedicated to Fiat 124 Abarths and in which Team Bernini Rally participates. The Scorpione cars prepared by Michele Bernini are achieving excellent results. Andrea Nucita, paired with Romanian Alina Pop, has won two of the three rounds held so far: the Liapaja Rally in Latvia and the Rally of Poland. Thanks to these results, the driver from Catania isleading the standings, a full 11 points ahead of the Polish pair Dariusz Polonski and Lukasz Sitek. We will also be present in Rome with products from the Professional line and our facilities made available to the mechanics who take care of the cars.

7th Rome Capital Rally, a very challenging route

The first event of the Roma Capitale Rally is Friday, July 19, when all the cars entered in the race will be presented at Castel Sant'Angelo, a unique setting that only the Eternal City can offer... from here the cars will set off on a parade along the streets of the Capital.

On Saturday, July 20, it starts in Pico, in the province of Frosinone, with the first of the 7 special stages, which will see competitors compete on the roads of the province of Rome and Frusinate. Three stages on the first day and four on the second, to be repeated twice, before "landing" in Ostia where the Super Special Stage, the great novelty of this edition of the Rally Roma Capitale, will take place. The cars will perform along the Ostia coastline, on a circuit set up for the occasion and attracting more than 40,000 fans, who will be able to witness a fantastic spectacle.
