How to clean RV bathroom and kitchen with Mafra products
Here we come to the fourth installment of 5 in Camper: in this installment, with Valeria and Matteo, we go on a discovery of how to clean the bathroom and kitchen of the camper. Of course, even for these spaces, Mafra has the right solution!
We're back with 5 in Camper to find out all about cleaning the RV's bathroom and kitchen! After the mega unboxing of Mafra products unveiled by 5 in Camper, Valeria and Matteo decided to launch a survey among their followers to find out what to focus on in their video tutorials. That's exactly how it turned out that most of their users were interested in seeing how to clean the camper from A to Z. In the 5-part mini-series dedicated to the perfect RV cleaning, they are going into detail about every single aspect.
Valeria and Matteo from 5 in Camper have already shown us how to clean the outside, how to clean the interior e how to remove the unpleasant black lines of our beloved motorhome. Today we find out how to clean the bathroom and kitchen of the camper, of course with Mafra products specific to each.
Before we begin, Valeria and Matteo remind us of some technical clarifications reported by our technical department, which should always be kept in mind so as not to run into unpleasantness.
- Strictly adhere to dilution and setting time (where indicated);
- Never work under direct sunlight exposure;
- The surfaces to be treated should not be hot;
- Rinse (where applicable) thoroughly.

How to clean the RV bathroom
The RV bathroom is not like the bathroom at home. This is mainly because of the materials in which it is made, namely thermoformed. The latter, if treated with inappropriate products, tend to yellow and deteriorate. Mafra's bathroom line, although not created explicitly for recreational vehicles, is also suitable for use in contact with thermoformats, thanks to the chemical conformation of the phosphoric-based and ammonia-free products.
Bathy Wc
is a detergent descaling sanitizing, which removes limestone incrustations e rust from toilet walls and bathroom fixtures, leaving them shiny and bright. Simply spray the product generously and leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse: the action is Effective against dirt and scale, and leaves a pleasant and delicate fragrance. Thanks to its special viscous and fragrant formula, it also acts on vertical walls, ensuring perfect cleanliness and hygiene.

Bathy Plus
, on the other hand, is a specific detergent for sanitary ware and faucets, designed to radically remove encrusted dirt from all acid-resistant surfaces. Particularly suitable for the surfaces of toilets, faucets, bathrooms and showers, it should be sprayed on and left for 30 seconds. Then simply help yourself with a sponge to rinse: Again, there are no contraindications other than judicious use on enameled or painted surfaces.

How to clean the RV kitchen
If the RV's bathroom requires care in the treatment of its surfaces, the kitchen area, composed of similar materials as the one at home, is different.
Just spray on the hob High Tech Degreasing, I universal multipurpose degreaser by Mafra, to see the stove perfectly clean of any residue (on both gas and induction stoves). The thing that makes it easy and convenient to use is that it requires no rinsing; just a wipe with a cloth or paper towel and you're done. Fast and effective!

After this step, Valeria and Matthew have dedicated themselves to the worktop. With them there could only be Bacteryd Fast, the alcoholic detergent for surfaces, fast-acting, requiring no rinsing. The product can be sprayed on anything that comes in contact with food, such as kitchen countertops, cutting boards, knives, etc. As shown by our friends, simply spray Bacteryd Fast on the surface to be treated, let it work for at least 30 seconds, and wipe over with a dry cloth.

BBQ and hard dirt
The Mafra Research & Development Laboratory has also thought about the passionate griller as Matthew. Grill Brill is a product specially designed to eliminate the encrustations and residues more persistent charred grease from ovens, stoves, fryers, cooking plates and grills. After applying the product to the surface to be treated, simply leave it on for a few moments and remove the dirt with a wet sponge, then rinse thoroughly.
As suggested by Valeria and Matteo, all these operations are indicated for those who own an RV but also for those who use a rental RV, to be sure to travel in complete... cleanliness!
