Appointment on October 6 at the Varano de' Melegari (PR) racetrack for BMW enthusiasts to drive their cars on the track and on the road. We at Mafra welcome all Bimmer Reunion 2024 participants with our unmistakable Inflatable Arch and a Welcome Kit.
The passion for BMWs is called Bimmer. And again this year Mafra is by the side of the lovers of Bavarian cars who will gather on October 6 in Varano de' Melegari (PR) for the 2024 edition of the Bimmer Reunion. From 8 a.m. to early afternoon, participants have the opportunity to drive their beloved BMWs on the most beautiful roads in the area and on the track, among the curves of theRiccardo Paletti racetrack.

Ancient Bimmer Tradition
If you are wondering where the name Bimmer came from, the answer is easy. It is, in fact, the nickname for BMWs that originated in the United States and was used in the 1960s to refer to the German manufacturer's motorcycles. Beamer or Beemer were the words originally used only by Anglophones, but as time went on all BMW enthusiasts around the world made it their own.
Bimmer Reunion 2024, all in a morning
The program of the Bimmer Reunion 2024, organized by Womboevents in partnership with Autotorino BMW Parma, is concentrated in the morning of Sunday, October 6. Starting at 8 a.m. there is registration of participants at theRiccardo Paletti Autodrome in Varano, with the possibility of having breakfast thanks to the catering organized in the facilities of the facility. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. is theTrack Experience. All registered crews have the opportunity to drive around the circuit in their BMWs for two rounds, each lasting 20 minutes, for a total of 40 minutes in all. To participate in these sessions, driver and passenger must both have an approved helmet.
Instead, the Road Tour starts at 11:15 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. The route runs over stretches connecting the hills of Valceno to the Piacenza wine hills of Val d'Arda. Final destination of the Stradale Tour is the La Ratta Estate in Bacedasco Sotto-Vernasca (PC), a small and sought-after winery for wine production.
The program includes a guided tour of the winery between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., with insights into production processes and the variety of products. After the tour, participants are offered a tasting of local wines, accompanied by traditional Emilian cured meats and cheeses.
From 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., also at La Ratta Estate, there is also a drawing for the final prizes, offered to participants by the event's partners. Test drives are also possible during the morning thanks to the availability of a small fleet of BMW and Mini models.
