Augusto Farneti's Spring, the 40th gathering of the Il Velocifero Club in Rimini.

From Saturday, April 22 through Sunday, April 23, vintage motorcycle collectors and enthusiasts will gather in Rimini for the 40th edition of the Augusto Farneti Spring. The gathering, organized by Il Velocifero Club, is the second leg of ASI Circuito Tricolore, of which Mafra is a sponsor.

After the great success of the first stage of ASI Circuito Tricolore, at the Valleys and Mists of Ferrara, collectors and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts meet in Rimini. Kicking off Saturday, April 22 , is the Augusto Farneti Spring, the second stage of the circuit of car and motorcycle events organized by the ASI Federated Clubs of which Mafra is a sponsor.

Organized by The Velocifero Club, this gathering dedicated to vintage motorcycles is now in its 40th year. We at Mafra could not miss it here either!

Dedicated to Augusto Farneti, creator and founder of the Club Il Velocifero, this rally offers the opportunity to discover the territories that lead from Rimini to Santarcangelo di Romagna and San Marino, all driving splendid examples of historic motoring. Our characteristic Mafra inflatable arches are right there, marking the arrival and departure of the various stages.

As sponsors of all the events that are part of ASI Circuito Tricolore, for the Augusto Farneti Spring, we created a special Welcome Kit, reserved for all event registrants.

An event that turns inland from Rimini, discovering the territories that lead from Rimini to Santarcangelo di Romagna and San Marino.

Saturday, April 22

Participants in Augusto Farneti's Spring Gathering will meet in Rivazzurra di Rimini (RN) early in the morning (7:30 a.m.) at the Ristorante Quo Vadis, at 339 Via Flaminia. It is here that all information regarding the route is handed out and the bikes are prepared in anticipation of the departure, scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

The first stage takes place in the center of Rimini, riding through the monumental areas of the city to arrive at theTiberius Bridge Invasion (Archaeological Square) where enthusiasts can admire the motorcycles entered in the event.

The rally continues along the Rimini pier to a stop for lunch at the seaside restaurant Rock Island.

After lunch, the caravan of splendid vintage motorcycles resumes its journey in the direction of Santarcangelo di Romagna, along a scenic route that ends with thedisplay of the motorcycles in the square of the ancient medieval village and a cultural visit to the Mysterious Caves.

Immediately afterward, they are scheduled to return to Rimini for a parade along the Rimini Marina Promenade.

The day ends at the Café Pascucci and then head to theHotel Palace Alisei for the Gala Dinner and overnight stay in anticipation of the second day of the event.

Sunday, April 23

In the morning, immediately after breakfast, Augusto Farneti's Primavera set off in the direction of San Marino, after a 30-kilometer route .

Here the motorcycles are parked near the cable car from which we reach the Old Town for a tour of the city. This is followed by an aperitif with splendid panoramic views.

When the tour was over, the group resumed their bikes and returned to Rimini at the restaurant Quo Vadis for lunch and the conclusion of the 40th Augusto Farneti Spring.

ASI Tricolor Circuit

ASI Tricolor Circuit is now in its third year and includes 15 events taking place throughout Italy.

The purpose of the event is to promote knowledge and appreciation of the Italian territory all aboard beautiful vintage vehicles.
