We are kicking off 2019 in style: we will be at the famous Monte-Carlo competition as the main sponsor. And this year's start...
The famous Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique - one of the most important events among those dedicated to competitions among historic cars - will start from the city of Milan. A peculiarity that has not occurred since 1932 and MAFRA, certainly, could not miss it. Our company will take part in the event as Main Sponsor, honoring the competitors with a special kit and providing the team #Labocosmetics for a soft detailing treatment reserved for the cars before the start. In addition, we will participate in the race with one of our crews, putting us behind the wheel of a 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Abarth Rally car.
The 22nd edition of the Rallye
The 22nd edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique will start on Wednesday, January 30, from Glasgow and Athens, while Friday, February 1, is the date scheduled for departures from Bad Homburg, Barcelona, Reims, Milan and Monte-Carlo.
In the Lombard capital MAFRA is present in grand style. On Corso Venezia, in front of the headquarters of theAutomobile Club Italia, our large inflatable indicates the place from which all the cars will start. There will be as many as 90 cars that fans, starting at 3 p.m. Friday, can admire inside the cloister of Palazzo del Senato: 65 departing from Milan and 25 coming from Athens. Before the start, the cars will parade along the streets of Milan, in the direction of Piazza del Duomo, where they can watch the punching procedure and the presentation to the public.
From here, we will then move to Corso Venezia to watch the departure, scheduled for 6 p.m.: towards Monaco...
The MAFRA Complimentary Kit
For all crews starting from Milan, we have provided a special Kit, designed to tackle the Rallye's challenging special stages in the best visibility conditions and in complete safety. The MAFRA Kit contains:

- Anti-Fog special edition Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique departure from Milan, an anti-fog especially useful in classic cars and with a completely revamped formulation;
- Not-Ice Power, a de-icer that can quickly melt ice that forms on windshields and car windows;
- Cristalbel 70, special window cleaning liquid that withstands temperatures down to -70°C; a microfiber cloth ideal for cleaning windows.
A team of detailers
Also on hand at the start of the Milan leg will be the professional detailers of the #Labocosmetica team, the complete line of detailing products, the last frontier in terms of car care dedicated to those who demand the ultimate in car care. It is also the task of the #Labocosmetica team to keep the fantastic Renault Alpine, undisputed queen of the Monte-Carlo Rallye in the early 1970s and on display inside the ACI headquarters in Milan, always shiny and bright.
On Feb. 1, the detailers, will take care of the cars inside the cloister of the Senate Palace using:

- #Perfécta, a "quick detailer" thanks to which it is possible to remove dirt, water stains and insect residues, giving shine and a pleasant silk effect on bodywork, windows and plastics.
- #Aquavèlox, an "anti-rain" product that can create a hydrophobic sealing coating on the windshield and all crystal surfaces of the car. Thanks to #Aquavelox, crystal parts are kept smooth and protected from water and dirt.
Our passion for classic cars...
For all cars taking part in the22nd edition of the Rallye de Monte-Carlo Historique, the first destination will be Buis-les Baronnies, in the heart of the Provençal Drôme. A meeting point that the first competitors will reach on Saturday, February 2, starting at 10 a.m. From here the real race begins, tackling the challenging special stages on the roads that have made this rally, a true world icon of motor racing, such as the legendary Col de Turinì, where the fate of the race has often been decided.
The race concludes at the Port Hercule de Monaco on Wednesday, Feb. 6, where around 1 a.m. the winner is scheduled to arrive. On Wednesday evening we will move to the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club, in the Salle des Etoiles, where the traditional gala evening with all the award ceremonies takes place.
We will be present at the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique with a car from the Scuderia Milano Autoclassiche, a 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Abarth Rally, also a protagonist at the last Targa Florio Classic, with Marco Mattioli, General Manager of MAFRA, at the wheel, assisted by his historical navigator Mario Pensotti. A great adventure that will see them travel the historic roads of the French Riviera, also passing through the legendary Col de Turinì, a true icon of international rallying.

Participation in the Rallye underscores our passion for classic cars and our commitment as ambassadors of detailing in Italy: a mission aimed at introducing the full potential of detailing to both car care professionals and discerning enthusiasts.
