On Saturday, May 25, the love of so many enthusiasts for Porsches finds its crowning glory with the event dedicated to all models of the Stuttgart House, classic and modern. Mafra welcomes participants to Varano de' Melegari with its welcome kit.
United in passion for Porsches. This is what Leftignition, an event named after the classic position of the Stuttgart sports car's starter key, located to the left of the steering column.
Now in its 10th year, the event, which takes place on Saturday, May 25, features classic and modern Porsches and as a reference point the racetrack of Varano de' Melegari (PR).

The Mafra Welcome Kit
To crews participating in Leftignition 2024 Mafra offers the welcome kit, containing the handy badge holder and these products in 125 ml packs, enclosed in a convenient pvc case:

Two programs, same purpose
Leftignition 2024 participants are offered a choice of two different types of experiences (if you want to learn more click here).
The program for the first one, called Track & Tour Experience, includes the possibility of using the Varano de' Melegari circuit from 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.
Use of the track, which is dedicated to the memory of F1 driver Riccardo Paletti who died in an accident at the start of the 1982 Canadian GP, is scheduled for a total of one hour, divided into 20-minute shifts, with the cars split according to model and performance.
From 12 to 2 p.m. drivers can also have lunch at the Panoramic Terrace of the circuit, savoring typical products of the Parma area.
Beginning at 2:30 p.m., Track & Tour Experience participants move in groups in the direction of the Rocca di Fontanellato fortress to join those who chose the Tour Experience instead and enjoyed a different morning.
In fact, Tour Experience participants are scheduled to leave at 10:30 a.m. for a tour on the roads that connect the hills of the Ceno Valley with the Salsese Hills . The next appointment is at the Labyrinth of the Masone for a visit to a unique structure in the world. At the impressive pyramidal area of the Labyrinth there will also be lunch, based on products from the Parma area.
At 2:30 p.m., the cars move on to reach the Rocca di Fontanellato, whose visit is planned, joining the crews participating in the Track & Tour Experience.
The jewel of the Rocca is the Hall frescoed by Parmigianino, representing the myth of Diana and Actaeon. Also at the Rocca, you can taste a special ice cream from the La Golosa ice cream shop and the Stregotto cocktail, a blend of Strega liqueur and Neri chinotto.
After visiting the Rocca, all crews set course for the Reggia di Colorno for an aperitif, with Parma ham tasting. This is followed by the awarding of the many prizes offered by the event's partners.
