Mafra with ASI Circuito Tricolore for the Tour of Sicily 2023

Sicily is the protagonist of the next stage of ASI Circuito Tricolore from May 10 to 14 takes place the Tour of Sicily 2023 now in its 32nd edition. Mafra is present with its distributor RI.EL. There are two stages of ASI Circuito Tricolore that feature Sicily this year. The first, taking place May 10-14, is the Tour of Sicily 2023, now in its 32nd edition.

Organized by the Veteran Car Club Panormus, the Tour of Sicily 2023 It touches the island's major cities.

It starts on May 10 from Palermo and then stops in Racalmuto, with its racetrack, and then Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples and Chaos; followed by Scala dei Turchi, Montallegro and the Selinunte Archaeological Park.

150 kilometers along the roads of Sicily to savor the sun and typical flavors of this beautiful island: sun, sea, golden beaches and nature reserves in addition to the wonderful archaeological sites of Magna Graecia.

Mafra at the Tour of Sicily 2023

The Giro di Sicilia program

May 10 - The cars meet at the Palermo Golf Club, in Piazza Leoni, and then head to Piazza Verdi for scrutineering. A guided tour of the city is scheduled in the afternoon and then, after dinner, at 8 p.m. the race sets off in the direction of Cefalù. The caravan will pass through Ficarazzi, Casteldaccia, Trabia, Termini Imerese, the historic Tribunes of Floriopoli, Cerda and then spend the night in Cefalù waiting to leave the next day.

May 11 - In the morning at 8:30 a.m. we set off from Cefalù in the direction of Catania. The event passes through Funale di Pollina, Castel di Tusa, S. Stefano di Camastra, Marina di Caronia, Acquedolci, S. Agata di Militello, Capo d'Orlando, Sinagra, Ucria, Floresta and Santa Domenica Vittoria. Here the crews make a stop for lunch, then resume the ride via Randazzo, Linguaglossa, Milo, Zafferana Etna, Nicolosi. On Etna, a guided tour of the Crateri Silvestri is planned. The day ends in Catania, where crews spend the evening.

May 12 - Also in the morning at 8:30 a.m. from Catania we set off in the direction of Agrigento. On this day the cars pass through Aidone, Piazza Armerina, where a guided tour of the stunning Roman Villa of Casale is planned, and then arrive at the Valle dei Templi racetrack in Racalmuto. Dinner and overnight stay are then held in Agrigento.

May 13 - From Agrigento the ride continues to Petrosino. On this day it passes through the Valley of the Temples, Porto Empedocle, the Scala dei Turchi, Castelvetrano and Selinunte. After a guided tour of the Selinunte archaeological site, the Giro di Sicilia 2023 awards ceremony takes place.

May 14 - The 32nd edition of the Giro di Sicilia 2023 concludes with a transfer from Marsala to Palermo, driving along the roads of the Florios' Sicily: the cars pass through the Salt Pans of Marsala, Calatafimi, Alcamo and then arrive in Palermo, where the event ends.

150 kilometers of an Arab-Norman route, which touches the places of Magna Graecia to arrive on the roads where Vincenzo Florio, in the early 1900s, thought of organizing the "cursa" that made Sicily famous among all fans of motor racing.
