DB Expo 2026: Where Automotive Excellence Meets Innovation
On March 20 and 21, 2026, Lariofiere in Erba (CO) will once again shine the spotlight on excellence in the automotive care industry with a new, ambitious edition of DB Expo. Following the success of the previous edition, the event reaffirms its status as an international benchmark for professionals in the fields of auto body repair, detailing, and paintless dent repair (PDR), bringing together under one roof the leading innovators in the vehicle care sector.

The Event: Three Souls, One Stage
DB Expo 2026 is structured around three key pillars that represent the entire vehicle care industry:
Body Shop – The latest innovations in painting, equipment, and high-efficiency work cycles
Detailing – The art of attention to detail, using the best products and techniques for aesthetic protection
Dent Removal (PDR) – The most advanced technologies for repairing hail damage without repainting
To make this edition even more spectacular, the Polishing Championship will take place in the fair’s central ring: the best detailers from around the world will compete in extreme correction and polishing challenges, putting their technique, speed, and precision to the test in a one-of-a-kind competitive format.
At the same time, the two PDR World Championships will also take place, where the world’s top technicians will compete in precision and speed challenges to repair dents. This program makes DB Expo 2026 the only event in the world where three disciplines come together under one roof.

Labocosmetica: The RTU Line Is a Game-Changer
One of the most anticipated new features of this edition is undoubtedly Labocosmetica’s RTU (Ready To Use) line—a family of products designed from the ground up to deliver professional-grade performance without the need for dilution or adjustment. This represents a significant step forward in operational efficiency, designed for those who want consistent, fast, and repeatable results.
Initio – A ready-to-use alkaline pre-wash, ideal for removing surface dirt during the pre-wash phase; easy to apply and suitable for both professionals and enthusiasts.
Texia – The line’s RTU fabric cleaner, featuring exclusive ACTIVBOOST™ technology that enhances penetration between fibers and works where traditional detergents fall short. It is the only alkaline RTU in the line and is designed to provide deep cleaning even without mechanical agitation.
Varius – A high-performance, ready-to-use (RTU) all-purpose cleaner (APC) developed with a new formula that ensures an intense, controlled, and balanced cleaning action. Safe for use on surfaces such as leather, Alcantara, plastics, and panels, without the risk of staining or over-cleaning.
Free, Cleanse, and Renew: The Triad of Deep Care
Alongside the RTU line, Labocosmetica will showcase three products designed for advanced car body care and protective films:
Libera – An innovative concentrated professional pre-wash that falls into the TFR (Traffic Film Remover) category. It stands out for its ability to combine the effectiveness of a traditional TFR with a powerful integrated decontaminating action, reducing the number of steps required and optimizing work time.
Limpia – The specialized cleaner for PPF films and vehicle wraps, which works by capillary action and contains absolutely no harsh ingredients: zero abrasives, zero solvents, zero risks. Its gentle yet effective alkaline formula makes it the only recommended cleaning product for high-value protected surfaces.
Renova – A pH-balanced, highly lubricated shampoo specifically formulated for deep cleaning of PPF and vehicle wraps. Its innovative formula penetrates the micro-pores of the materials, dissolving contaminants and deposits without damaging the surface structure of the films.

The Big News: The Armorius System by Labocosmetica
DB Expo 2026 will serve as the stage for the global debut of Armorius by Labocosmetica: not just a product, but a complete professional system designed entirely around PPF. This ambitious project stems from the recognition of a gap in the market: most current solutions treat PPF as an accessory to paint, rather than as a standalone technology with its own specific requirements.
The philosophy has been clear from the start: PPF is not paint, and everything related to it—from the film to the coating, and from preparation to maintenance—must be specifically designed for it.
PPF films, the core of the system, are available in three variants to meet every aesthetic need:
Armorius Shine – The glossy, transparent, and water-repellent version, with a water contact angle exceeding 100°. An optically pure film that does not alter the paint but enhances it, while also eliminating the orange-peel effect typical of many films on the market.
Armorius Satin – The satin version, featuring a transparent satin finish with a gloss level between 30° and 35°. Water-repellent and thermally self-healing, its structure conforms to every curve of the bodywork without altering its character.
Armorius Matt – The matte version, featuring a transparent matte finish with a gloss level between 10° and 15°. Designed to preserve the aesthetic appeal of matte finishes without compromising their natural look.
All three films share outstanding technical characteristics: Lubrizol TPU material with a self-healing thermal top coat, mechanical resistance to impacts and scratches, and a multi-layer structure designed to ensure ease of installation, durability, and long-lasting aesthetic appeal.
Specialized coatings, the second pillar of the system, are available in two versions—Gloss and Matt—and are specifically formulated to work on the PPF rather than on the paint. The PPF acts as a mechanical shield, but its surface requires specialized chemical protection to maintain its water-repellency, stain resistance, and appearance over time.
The maintenance system rounds out the package: cleaning products specifically designed for PPF and protected surfaces, such as Limpia and Renova, ensure that performance remains consistent over time, protecting the film from daily wear and tear without ever compromising its functionality.
Finally, Armorius PPF is a certified, traceable, and insurable film: in the event of damage, the policy can cover the cost of restoring the film, making the protection not only physical and aesthetic but also economically sustainable.
