Bimmer Reunion at Varano, Mafra welcomes participants with its kit

Sunday, Nov. 12, appointment in Varano for BMW enthusiasts: a tour in the hills and laps on the track with the Bimmer Reunion are scheduled. We at Mafra will be present alongside the enthusiasts with our giveaways.

Sunday, November 12 is held, in the most beautiful parts of the province of Parma, Bimmer Reunion, an appointment organized by Wombo Events for lovers of BMW. Bimmer is the nickname for BMW cars originated in the USA, derived from Beamer or Beemer which, in the 1960s, designated the motorcycle of the German House. A few years ago these terms were used only by English speakers, but over time BMW enthusiasts have begun to use them worldwide.

The Bimmer Reunion, which is in its third year and benefits from the partnership of the dealership Autotorino BMW Parma, is dedicated to all BMW models.

The busy morning of the Bimmer Reunion

The program includes, starting at 8 a.m., breakfast and a guided tour of the Monte delle Vigne Winery of Ozzano Taro, a hamlet of Collecchio (Parma). From 10:15 a.m. Bimmer Reunion participants begin a Road Tour in their BMWs that takes them on the most beautiful routes in the Parma hills.

The route winds along the Cisa state highway, the hills of Cassio and the curves of Selva Grossa, arriving in Varano de' Melegari. Varano is home to the racetrack dedicated to the memory of Italian Formula 1 driver Riccardo Paletti, who died in a tragic accident in Canada in 1982.

From 12 noon to 2 p.m. those who wish can try their hand at track behind the wheel of their BMWs, taking advantage of two rounds of 20 minutes each. At the same time, participants can enjoy the gastronomic buffet of culinary specialties from the Parma area available on the new Terrace Hospitality Of the racetrack.

Immediately afterwards, starting at 2 p.m., again on the Hospitality Terrace, prizes offered by event partners are drawn for participants. Also present for the occasion is a small fleet of BMW and Mini models available for a limited number of test drive experiences.
