Panda in Pandino by Guinness World Record: 1,063 Pandas in attendance!
The Panda rally in Pandino 2025 wrote a new page in history: as many as 1,063 Fiat Panda cars gathered in the heart of Lombardy, setting a new European record for participation. The event, held in the picturesque setting of the Visconteo Castle in Pandino (CR), transformed the town into a stage of automotive passion, creativity and Italian pride.
Once again in this Guinness edition, MA-FRA participated as the main sponsor, alongside thousands of "pandists" united by a genuine bond with their car and a willingness to take the utmost care of it.
A record-breaking rally for the queen of the hatchback
The 2025 gathering exceeded all expectations. The stated goal was to beat the previous record of 1,051 cars registered in 2023, and it succeeded in a big way. The city of Pandino welcomed 1,063 Fiat Panda cars from all over Europe, confirming the event as the largest Panda gathering ever organized.
But it was not just about numbers. The value of "Panda in Pandino" is in its incredible variety of specimens:
- The historic air-cooled Panda 30s, still fully functional.
- The legendary 4×4s, a symbol of endurance and versatility.
- "Young" Pandas of the 1990s and more recent models.
- The new Grande Panda full electrics, displayed at the official Fiat/Stellantis booth.
- Restored, elaborate, lived-in models, and the world-famous narrowest Panda made by Andrea Marazzi.
- Customized, decorated, colorful Pandas accessorized with exaggerated sound systems or unique details.
Each Panda, different from the other, told a story of dedication, creativity and love for the car. A popular cultural heritage that MA-FRA has always shared and supported.
MA-FRA: starring with the legendary #MAFRAPANDA
Once again this year, MA-FRA participated as the official main sponsor, offering its know-how and values to a community that has made car care a daily gesture of affection and pride.
At the center of the booth, attracting thousands of curious onlookers and fans, was her: the #MAFRAPANDA, fresh from her return from the Moroccan desert after successfully tackling the extremely tough Panda Raid 2025.
A unique vehicle, a true desert warrior
The #MAFRAPANDA is not just an elaborate Panda. It is a technical and human project created to withstand the most extreme conditions and bring Italian pride to the heart of the Sahara.
Here are its main technical features:
- Panda Van body combined with Suzuki SJ 413 mechanics (chassis, transmission, axles and gearboxes).
- Shortened wheelbase by 22 cm to fit the original body.
- Revised setup with oil/gas shocks and Range Rover struts.
- Abarth 1400 Multijet engine with 160 hp, upgradeable to 230 hp.
- Enhanced cooling and intake system with increased intercooler, extra fans, snorkel with oil bath filter.
- Advanced electronics: double-mapped ECU, flip-down dashboard, sectioned electrical system, additional air intakes.
- Off-road accessories: tire inflation/deflation, reinforced roof rack, jerry cans, footpegs, pantograph jack and spare wheels.
- Custom livery with Panda Samurai and Abarth badge.
Displayed to the public just as it had returned from the raid, still covered in Saharan sand and mud, the #MAFRAPANDA bore witness to the strength of Italian ingenuity and tenacious craftsmanship. A car that perfectly embodies the MA-FRA spirit: endurance, performance and passion for every detail.
An event filled with excitement and a sense of community
The success of the event is thanks to thePanda Association in Pandino, joined by the energy of car influencer William Jonathan, the social face of the event. Together they were able to create a unique atmosphere of sharing, music, respect and great organization.
Among the most touching moments was the "Panda Antonio Narducci" award, in memory of a young pandist who passed away, presented by his brother Donato. A gesture that combined emotion and a sense of belonging, celebrating the true spirit of this extraordinary community.
