MA-FRA was alongside Gian Maria Gabbiani and Guido Cappellini in Round 1 of the Class 1 Offshore World Championship in Doha. The Milanese company was a protagonist with the Azzurri in this adventure, to test its products that will then be addressed to the public in the new Boat Line. In fact, MA-FRA prides itself on always being able to guarantee innovation and performance for its customers: products suitable for every situation, capable of maintaining the original splendor of the boat over time.
Gian Maria, who has always been linked to MA-FRA products, after last season's apprenticeship crowned with the Endurance world title won in the Production class in Zeebrugge, dwelt on the great satisfaction of being at Cappellini's side: "The news came completely unexpected, the phone call that changes your life in an instant. There are three icons in motorsport, Schumacher for Formula 1, Valentino Rossi for Motorcycling, and Guido Cappellini for Powerboating. To be able to race with him is a great honor. It excites me to think, after a year and a half in motorsports, to race at the highest level and be part of a top team."
In addition to racing and speed, the spectacle of Qatar also took center stage at the event. Indeed, Doha is now among the world's sports capitals, a leading venue on the international sports scene: MotoGP, tennis, powerboat racing and World Superbike. Home to some of the biggest events it is now a location capable of handling the biggest spectacles: in 2006 Qatar had the honor of hosting the Asian Games and in 2022 it will host the FIFA World Cup.
The World Offshore Championship - Class 1 is the queen category within powerboating, Doha is the new beacon of world sport; MA-FRA could not miss it.
