Often, the washing of rims is not given the proper attention, because it is considered a demanding job. In these four steps, using the right products, we show you how easy it is to get a great result with a little patience, and without effort.
Everyone always has the ambition to make their
"old lady." Very often, however, we pay most attention to the cleanliness of the body, but neglect the rims and tires, with the end result of an aesthetically incomplete job.
Proper cleaning of the rims is necessary, not only for the beauty of our beloved car, but for its health: in fact, cleaning the rims frequently helps preserve them from damage due to corrosion and time. And to ensure that cleaning is
done safely, we should not resort to aggressive products
or "do-it-yourself" because we might ruin the rims, scratch them
or even damage them. Instead, we must choose specific products that, thanks to their chemical composition, are able to guarantee the best result in the most suitable way.
This way you will save time, effort and that your car will be from "beauty contest"!
HERE ARE 4 SIMPLE STEPS FOR CLEANING SPOKE WHEELS:
REMOVE GLUE AND TAR FROM RIMS
First, we check if there are tar or glue residues on the rim (the one left by the weights for balancing compensation): to remove them, we need to use a specific product: we spray "Deca Flash" on the part to be decontaminated, leave it to act for a maximum of one minute and rinse. "Deca Flash" thanks to its formulation, capable of dissolving the sticky residues that stick to the surface of the rim, will remove them in a few moments.
LET'S START THE CLEANING OF THE SPOKES
We can now begin the washing of the spoke rims.
We spray on the rim and tire, the "Rim and Tire Cleaner." We wait a maximum of one minute, so that the product acts on the encrustations of the rim and on the dirt anchored on the tire, and we proceed with rinsing. If the dirt is encrusted we recommend using a Rim Brush. We rinse and dry the rim perfectly with the help of the "1Shine Exterior" microfiber cloth.
AND NOW WE POLISH
Now we use the specific product for steel, aluminum and chrome "Kit Flash Bright": a polishing polish and a sponge designed to
make the treated parts shine. We pour a small amount of Flash Bright onto the "Booster Sponge" provided, run the sponge over the part to be polished, let it dry until a whitish patina is created on the surface, which we remove with the "1Shine Exterior" microfiber cloth.

It takes a lot of patience because there are so many spokes and they deserve a great deal of scrupulousness in their cleaning. For an even more impressive finish, we used "Extreme Black" spray tire black on the tire.
