Some practical tips
Washing your car, in addition to preserving it from premature aging, can also be an enjoyable hobby, but as in all things it is good to follow a few simple rules. First of all, never work in the sun and make sure that the surface of the bodywork is not too hot: excessive heat, in fact, risks drying the car too quickly, which results in water stains on the bodywork, with an absolutely unsightly effect.
Another useful tip is to always clean the wheels and rims first. This is where the ferrous residue generated by the braking system is deposited, which, if not removed before washing the car, can contaminate the sponge with the risk of scratching the bodywork. A sponge or soft-bristled brush should always be used for this operation.
One last tip--for a thorough wash of your car, always use the two-bucket method. This is a very simple solution: one bucket for the detergent and one for rinsing the sponge. With this method you avoid contaminating the shampoo and you are sure to wash the car with the sponge always clean, avoiding scratching the bodywork. Take care never to let the sponge go in contact with the bottom of the bucket, where all the dirt settles. In addition to two buckets, it is appropriate to use a soft, highly absorbent sponge (Spongy) for cleaning the bottom of the car and a soft glove (Leopard) for the top.
Finally, remember to always rinse the car with plenty of water and dry all surfaces thoroughly-this will prevent the formation of unpleasant stains due to moisture.
