Andrea Pezzoli demonstrated, with simple steps, how to perform car washing correctly, avoiding creating scratches and damaging the bodywork.

Techniques and products for proper car washing: the first installment of Mafra on Stop And Go
The intent of Stop And Go is to intercept and highlight trends related to mobility in Italy through the lived experiences of the protagonists met by Laura Forgia and Marco Mazzocchi in each episode. And the setting for our first Stop And Go sketch could only be a car wash center, our habitat. This is where Andrea Pezzoli, our expert popularizer, meets Laura Forgia as she grapples with one of the most common problems afflicting motorists, often caused by improper washing: the presence of surface scratches on the bodywork and faded paint. And here Andrea, with the right products and a simple hands-on demonstration, presents the 5 steps to get a perfectly clean car with shiny bodywork.
Step 1: Cleaning rims and tires
The first part of the treatment is devoted to the cleaning rims and tires. It is very important to start washing the car from the rims and tires, to avoid the dirt accumulated on the wheels going to the bodywork, risking scratching it during the next stages of washing. Step 2: Prewash
Prewashing is one of the most important steps in car washing. This step allows you to eliminate the coarsest dirt, which could cause scratches during manual washing.
Our popularizer Andrea Pezzoli demonstrates the correct application of foaming detergent Wash Self: simply spray the product, let it act and then rinse thoroughly, working from the bottom to the top of the car. In fact, the product's characteristic foam creates a compact veil that detaches dirt from the surface of the car and, as it drips, drags it away with it.
Step 3: Manual car wash
On Stop And Go, Andrea Pezzoli also demonstrated the two-bucket technique, a procedure that is as simple as it is effective.

Step 4: Wax application
