Crazyrun 2024 - East Coast Edition

From May 9 to 11, starting in Milano Marittima, the 12th edition of the Crazyrun, an event for special cars and equally original crews, is staged. We at Mafra will be alongside the participants with our Welcome Kit and will be competing with our "crazy" 1969 Ford Mustang

From Thursday, May 9 to Saturday, May 11, the following is staged. Crazyrun East Coast Edition, a four-wheeled adventure full of excitement and surprises. The name comes from the fact that the starting place for crews is Milano Marittima, a location on the Adriatic coast synonymous with relaxation and fun.

Characteristic of the Crazyrun is the secrecy of the route, because the organizers only provide participants with the starting place. From time to time, crews must scout out the clues needed to reach successive passage checkpoints.

Mafrawelcomes participants with a welcome kit and also comes down to the race with its own crew.

Crazyrun participants are welcomed with the Mafra Welcome Kit consisting of these special products in addition to caps and badge holders:

Heavy Work is Mafra's microfiber technology cloth , perfect for drying the exterior of the car, but also for removing dirt that lurks in the interior.

Mafra in contention with its own crew

All four-wheeled vehicles in compliance with the Highway Code are allowed at Crazyrun. However, the cars selected are often unconventional, because they are special, vintage, supercar or crazy car, that is, set up in the spirit of this event.

The list of those entered for the 2024 edition makes one dream: it includes Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lotus, McLaren, Maserati, Mercedes-AMG, and Rolls-Royce. However, there are also special models such as Fiat Panda, Toyota Yaris GR and Supra, Honda Civic Type-R, Abarth 595, Jeep Wrangler and Morgan.

We at Mafra are present not only as a sponsor of the event, but also with our own crew. In fact, at the Crazyrun East Cost Edition 2024 we are participating with the Maniac Team's powerful and rare 1969 Ford Mustang 351 .

On board the car are. Francesco Di Florio, Matteo Torrisi e Danny Lazzarin.

Francesco Di Florio is head of marketing & communication Mafra. Matteo Torrisi, with his Officina Del Pilota, is an expert in car restoration, refurbishment, customization and detailing, as he tells in his YouTube channel . Danny Lazzarin is creator on YouTube and entrepreneur, with the brand DL Gym, in the field of fitness consulting and custom athletic training.

The Crazyrun East Coast program

Crazyrun is not a speed race: indeed, crews are expected to strictly adhere to the Highway Code. It is an event in which intuition and clue-solving skills enable the shortest routes to be found and allow participants to stand out. The route is made known to the crews only as they proceed along the way.

Crew registration and a welcome drink are scheduled for Thursday, May 9 , at the Palace Hotel in Milano Marittima.

On Friday, May 10 , the cars are scheduled to depart from the hotel at 9:30 a.m. and return there at 4 p.m., while dinner and the Crazyrun Party are scheduled in the evening.

On Saturday, May 11, from 12:30 p.m., the cars arrive at the parc ferme, before the final party and awards ceremony, held in Arezzo's Via Roma.

There is also a new feature this year: the Crazyrun warm-up, held at night.

A car tour lasting about three hours that allows you to enjoy the beauty of the Italian territory. The secret roadbook then allows you to reach a restaurant, where a typical menu is provided.

The Warm-up program includes a tour by night on Wednesday, May 8, departing from the Palace Hotel. On Thursday, May 9, the cars will be on display at Mirabiliandia, while participants can try out the Ducato Desmo Race, iSpeed, Simulators and Katun adrenaline rides and have lunch at the @DucatiWorld .
