In a world of conventionally shaped car fragrances, we wanted to create something different, something that represented geometric perfection and balance. The cube, a solid figure with six identical faces, symbolizes completeness and harmony for us, just like the olfactory experience we wanted to offer.
The choice of the cube was not accidental. Throughout human history, this shape has always represented stability, solidity and perfection. From ancient temples to modern architecture, the cube is synonymous with balance. Just like the six fragrances we created, each perfectly balanced to offer a complete sensory experience.
Mafra's new Deo Cube car perfumer was born from the fusion of minimalist design and advanced olfactory technology. We chose natural materials such as wood for the cap and glass for the container, creating an object that not only perfumes your car, but also enhances its aesthetics with a touch of contemporary elegance.

Each Deo Cube fragrance was composed as an olfactory symphony, designed to evoke emotions and transport you to different places during your travels:

Wood: A unique material for fragrance diffusion
When we designed Mafra's Deo Cube, the choice of wood as the central element was no accident. This natural material possesses unique characteristics that make it perfect for diffusing fragrances:
Beech: natural elegance and superior performance
We chose beech wood for its extraordinary qualities. This hard, compact wood is distinguished by its homogeneous structure and high porosity, which make it particularly suitable for the absorption and gradual diffusion of fragrances. Beech is also prized for its strength and durability, which ensure consistent performance over time, as well as a refined and natural aesthetic that enhances the design of the product.
Natural Porosity
Wood is naturally porous, with tiny cavities that absorb liquid fragrances. These tiny openings allow the fragrance to penetrate deep into the material and be gradually released into the environment.

When it comes to natural and sustainable materials, beech stands out as a virtuous choice. It is no coincidence that we chose this wood for our Deo Cube: beech combines respect for the environment, quality and beauty, in a perfect balance.
Beech grows abundantly in Europe, especially in Italy, Germany, Austria and Eastern countries. A strong and deep-rooted presence that allows us to use a local resource, without having to resort to long intercontinental transports, thus reducing emissions related to logistics.
In addition, it is a non-risk species: it is managed through sustainable forestry practices, ensuring the continuous renewal of forests without compromising ecosystems.
Another reason that makes beech a responsible choice is its ability to regenerate quickly after selective cutting. Because of this characteristic, it can be grown according to the highest environmental standards, such as those required by FSC and PEFC certifications.
But beech's sustainability does not stop with its origin. It is a hardwood, durable and at the same time easily workable. This means less waste during processing and end products that last, reducing the need for frequent replacements and contributing to a lower environmental impact.
Finally, beech is completely natural and biodegradable. It contains no resins or toxic substances, unlike many chemically treated exotic woods.
And speaking of exotic woods, beech offers a sustainable alternative in this respect as well: no illegal deforestation, no long ocean voyages. Just authentic beauty that respects nature and enhances every breath in your car.

How to make the best use of your Deo Cube
Turning your car into a personalized scent oasis is simple with these easy steps:
- Gently unscrew the wooden stopper from the glass bottle.
- Remove the small fragrance-saving cap that protects the opening of the bottle, preserving the intensity of the fragrance until the first use.
- Carefully screw the wooden cap back on, making sure it is tight to prevent liquid spillage.
- Turn the perfumer upside down for a few seconds, allowing the liquid fragrance to soak into the porous wooden cap. This process activates the gradual and steady diffusion of the fragrance.
- Hang the Deo Cube from the rearview mirror using the elegant lanyard included in the package, positioning it so that it can spread the fragrance evenly throughout the interior.
Tips for an optimal olfactory experience
