Everything you need to know about RV sanitation
The treatment of major contact points
We have already emphasized it several times: perfect sanitization is achieved by cleansing combined withsanitizing the RV. The first step toward sanitization is therefore through treatment of the parts of greatest contact. Just to give a few examples, the interior and exterior handles, seat belts, steering wheel or gearshift.
Valeria and Matthew rely on Car Surfaces Disinfectant by Mafra, designed to offer a Disinfection and thorough and gentle cleansing, without leaving halos. Simply spray it directly onto the areas to be treated from a distance of 20-25cm and then wipe with a microfiber cloth: with just a few passes you get the desired result! It cleans deeply, eliminates contamination and biofilm, the source of bad odors, and offers deep sanitization on all surfaces. The product, ad virucidal action and hydrogen peroxide-based, it acts quickly and has no contraindications as it contains no alcohol.

Air conditioning system and cockpit
The passenger compartment air conditioning system can be the site of bad odors resulting from the formation of mold and microfilm inside the ducts. Thanks to Odorbact Out Disinfectant Interior & Climate., the PMC-authorized disinfectant spray - Presidio Medico Chirurgico, our friends at 5inCamper disinfected and sanitized the driver's cabin and the entire air conditioning system, quickly and easily: with the engine running and the air conditioner at full power in recirculation mode and air vents open, they dispensed the canister (previously shaken) resting on the floor at the passenger's feet. With the doors and windows closed but the compartments and drawers open, they completed the treatment (10 minutes after the dispensing ended). And finally, by opening the doors, they had the affected area ventilated.
Odorbact Out Interior & Climate Disinfectant.: RV cabin sanitizing in just a few moves
- Shake the canister well before use
- Open any compartments inside the passenger compartment (drawers, object holders, etc.).
- Start the vehicle and turn on the air conditioner
- Make sure all windows are tightly closed and vents open
- Turn on the air recirculation and set the ventilation to maximum
- Place the spray can vertically on the passenger-side mat, taking care that the spray jet does not directly hit the dashboard
- Press the canister valve fully down until it is completely locked, so that the product can be emptied completely
- With the engine running, exit the passenger compartment and close the door
- Wait for the canister to empty completely and allow the product to work for 10 minutes
- Open the doors and allow the passenger compartment to ventilate before using the vehicle

Focus on the housing cell
For the airframe, Valeria and Matthew have used the spray Every Time, the spray sanitizer (available in 300ml size) alcohol-based (80%) dermatologically tested, ideal for all surfaces Washable and nonwashable.
It can be used by spraying it on the shoe compartment, where jackets hang, or on objects from outside the motorhome. But for complete action it can be operated in continuous mode to sanitize the living quarters entirely. Before doing so, it is necessary to open all compartments and remove food in unsealed packages. In this case, the canister should be placed on the floor in the most central area of the airframe and wait 15 minutes for the treatment to finish.
